One of the suspects apprehended in connection with the kidnapping of Folasade Odumosu, the wife of retired Assistant Inspector General (AIG) Hakeem Odumosu, has confessed to his involvement in the crime.
During a police parade, the suspect admitted to participating in the abduction but declined to disclose the identity of the person who allegedly hired them for the job.
On Friday, the police arrested two individuals, Agbojule Smart and Keleke Michael, in connection with the kidnapping. It was also reported that two other members of the criminal gang were killed during the operation to rescue the victim.
Folasade Odumosu was abducted last Thursday outside her home in Arepo, located within the Owode Local Government Area of Ogun State.
The kidnappers forcibly removed her from her Lexus Sports Utility Vehicle (SUV) and dragged her through a swampy area before taking her to an undisclosed location.
