Popular Nigerian TikToker Olumide Ogunsanwo, widely known as Sea King, was re-arrested on Thursday, February 6, 2025, at the premises of a magistrate’s court in Ogba, Lagos State.
His latest arrest stems from allegations of cyberbullying against Pastor Enoch Adeboye, the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), following remarks made during a live session in December 2024.
Background: Initial Arrest and Charges
This is not Sea King’s first brush with the law. In December 2024, he was previously arrested after posting a video in which he criticized President Bola Tinubu, Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, and Inspector General of Police Kayode Egbetokun.
Following his arrest, he was arraigned on multiple charges, including treason, cyberstalking, and conduct likely to provoke a breach of peace. A magistrate’s court granted him bail set at ₦500,000, with two sureties in like sum.
Re-Arrest and Transfer to Abuja
On Thursday, February 6, 2025, while appearing for his ongoing trial, Sea King was re-arrested at the court premises and taken to the Lagos State Police Command in Ikeja before being transferred to Abuja.

Sea King was previously accused of inciting violence against police officers through a TikTok video, which led to his initial arrest and charges.
