A well-known saying, “Every day is for the thief, but one day is for the owner,” came to pass when Joy, a native of Akwa Ibom State, was arrested alongside other suspects by the Ogun State Amotekun Corps.
According to Daily Trust, the victims, aged between 12 and 39, were reportedly coerced into prostituti’on at the Railway Line Hotel, located along Old Bank Road in Ifo.
Fourteen of the victims were t’rafficked from Akwa Ibom, while the remaining ones were brought from Cross River and Delta states. Reports further indicated that some of the girls tested positive for HIV.
