The Kano State Police Command arrested Abba’s wife and two of his associates during a crackdown on his network after he fled to Cameroon. Security forces had discovered his presence at a Tijjaniyya ‘religious.
While being paraded by the police, Abba’s wife said that her husband had concealed his activities as a terro’rist throughout their marriage. She disclosed that he often held secret meetings outside their home, usually at his elder brother’s house.
