The House of Representatives has voted in favour of the state of emergency declared by President Bola Tinubu in Rivers State.
On Thursday, Tajudeen Abbas, the Speaker of the House, called for a voice vote after representatives made adjustments to the request demanding that the president review the order any time within six months.
Abbas noted that 243 members were presented to vote on the order.
