Controversial Nigerian prophet, Chukwuemeka Ohanemere, popularly known as Odumeje, has strongly criticized the administration of President Bola Tinubu, describing it as the “worst” in Nigeria’s history.
Addressing his congregation at his church auditorium on Friday, the clergyman blamed Nigerians for remaining passive despite the economic hardship brought about by Tinubu’s policies.
He expressed frustration over what he perceives as the president’s mismanagement, stating that Tinubu’s family and close associates are benefiting from the nation’s wealth while ordinary citizens struggle.
“The government is bragging, yet they have offered nothing meaningful to this nation. The current administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is the worst government Nigeria has ever had,” Odumeje declared.
“I’m disappointed in Nigerians for allowing this suffering to continue without action. He and his family are enjoying the wealth meant for everyone, while we remain silent and only complain on social media.”
Odumeje also hinted at his own political ambitions, stating that he would consider running for the presidency in 2027 if he receives divine approval.
“He [Tinubu] is just a man like me, and he has nothing to offer. We only live once, and that’s why I tell you—this presidential seat, 2027, I will use power, and I’m coming for it. When I finish consulting with God and decide to run, no one will be able to stop me,” he asserted.
His remarks have sparked mixed reactions, with some Nigerians supporting his stance, while others question the feasibility of his presidential aspirations.
