Peller: I’m Getting Death Threats for Asking Nigerians Not to Criticize Tinubu

Controversial streamer Peller has claimed that he has been receiving death threats after urging Nigerians to discontinue the ongoing #30DayRants challenge on TikTok.

Peller has faced significant backlash for advising against the challenge, which involves Nigerians voicing their frustrations about poor governance. He warned that continued criticism could prompt a ban on TikTok in Nigeria, potentially impacting his livelihood.

During a recent livestream, Peller alleged that some individuals threatened to harm him, referencing the attack on his fellow streamer, Oloba Salo, who was shot in the Lekki area of Lagos State last year.

“I have been receiving death threats. Some people threatened to shoot me like they shot Salo in Lekki Phase 1. They asked me to watch my back when going out,” he said.

Expressing his frustration, he added, “What is all this? I’m not talking again. Goodbye.”
