I Was Offered Money I Had Never Seen To Campaign Against Peter Obi - Odumodublvck

Nigerian rapper Tochukwu Ojogwu, better known as Odumodublvck, recently revealed that he turned down a significant sum of money during the lead-up to the 2023 presidential elections, which was offered to him in exchange for campaigning against Labour Party candidate Peter Obi.

Odumodublvck made the statement in response to critics who argued that he had no right to request that Obi promote his album, The Machine Is Coming, as a form of compensation for his support. The rapper defended his position, asserting that asking Obi to promote his album was a reasonable request, given the sacrifices he made in support of the former Anambra State governor during the election period.

On his X (formerly Twitter) account, Odumodublvck wrote, “Ask Abbas, I was offered money I had never seen to campaign against Mr. Peter but I turned it down.”

He continued, “Telling him to promote my new album is not too much to ask as I am not the one to seek favours. I sacrificed my life for this man.”

In his post, he concluded with a reference to his album: “No wam. The Machine Is Coming.”

The rapper’s comments shed light on his dedication to Obi’s presidential campaign and his belief that his loyalty and sacrifice should be acknowledged.

This revelation has sparked further discussions among his fans and critics alike, as it reveals the lengths to which Odumodublvck went to support Obi’s candidacy despite the temptations of financial gain.
