Colombian football is mourning the loss of one of its former stars, Jorge Eladio Bolaño Correa, who passed away at the age of 47.

According to El Tiempo, a prominent newspaper based in Bogotá, Bolaño suffered a sudden heart attack while attending a family celebration—a relative’s birthday party. Despite being swiftly transported to a nearby medical facility in a bid to save his life, he sadly did not survive the incident.
