Why Wealthy People Don’t Tell Others The Truth About Money - Kizz Daniel

Popular Nigerian singer, Oluwatobiloba Daniel Anidugbe, professionally known as Kizz Daniel, has shared his perspective on the complexities that come with financial success.

Taking to his official X (formerly Twitter) account, the acclaimed ‘Woju’ hitmaker revealed that wealth does not necessarily translate to happiness.

According to the award-winning artist, the public perception that money solves all problems is misleading. He emphasized that many wealthy individuals still struggle with emotional emptiness, loneliness, and anxiety, despite their financial comfort.

“Why is it that when money comes, happiness always seems to disappear?” he questioned in a heartfelt post. He further urged fans not to be deceived by the illusion of joy often portrayed online, explaining that a lot of what people see on social media is staged or superficial.

Kizz Daniel noted that he personally chooses to live modestly, despite his success. “I still live like a poor man every day — money chases me, not the other way around,” he wrote. He cautioned fans about idolizing money, stressing that the glitz and glamour associated with wealth often hide unseen struggles.

The singer also pointed out that many affluent individuals avoid speaking honestly about the downsides of wealth because doing so might diminish their perceived superiority.

“People who have money won’t tell you the full truth because they enjoy feeling above others,” he added.
