More details have emerged on how Obi Obieze, a wanted Enugu-based native doctor, was arrested at the Gbaji checkpoint along the Badagry-Seme Expressway on Wednesday by men of the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS).
Witnesses said Obieze, also known as Obu Onyeka, was attempting to flee to Seme on a commercial Bajaj motorcycle.
A source quoted by the News Agency of Nigeria said:
“He took a commercial car from Mile 2 to Badagry roundabout, from where he hired a commercial okada rider to the Seme border.
