A Nigerian pilgrim has passed away on the plain of Arafat while performing the Hajj pilgrimage in the holy land.
The Chairman of the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON), Prof. Abdullahi Saleh Usman, disclosed the incident to journalists shortly after the national prayer organized by the commission.
“We received the sad news that we lost one of our pilgrims today in Arafat, and another one died before we left Mecca,” he said.
