Portable, the controversial Nigerian singer, avoided a potential assault when he apprehended a knife-wielding man who approached his car.
The singer disclosed that the incident took place in front of his father’s residence in Ogun State.
Reports indicate that the man, dressed in military camouflage trousers and a Special Forces shirt, allegedly attempted to attack Portable.
Items recovered from the suspect included a dagger and a charm (juju) worn around his waist.
Despite the circumstances, the man denied any intention of attacking Portable, claiming instead that he was a member of a task force.
He was later seen seated on the ground as Portable and several bystanders questioned him following the incident.
