A Nigerian woman has shared a shocking revelation on TikTok about her late grandmother, who managed to keep two separate families—one based in the North and the other in Ibadan—without either husband ever knowing about the other until after her death.
Reportedly, she had six children with each husband, totaling 12, all of whom were raised believing they were part of one unified family.
“She also had another set of six children with a second family in the North, and no one knew about it until she passed away this year. While she was having children with my grandfather in Ibadan, she was simultaneously doing the same with her other husband in Kaduna. We’re all still in shock and trying to come to terms with it.
She explained that her grandmother was a successful businesswoman, and her constant travels provided the perfect cover for leading a double life.

”“She used to travel a lot back in the ’80s, sometimes spending months or even years trading in the North before returning to Ibadan for extended stays. She had a full family here in Ibadan and gave birth to six children — I’m the first grandchild from that side.”
