
Former Big Brother Naija star Terseer Waya, popularly known as Kiddwaya, has expressed deep sorrow over the recent wave of killings in his home state, Benue, describing the violence as “unacceptable.
”In a statement released late Monday, Kiddwaya called for justice for the victims and urged authorities to implement lasting solutions.
He emphasized that the people of Benue are tired of political excuses.He appealed to the government, security agencies, and all relevant stakeholders to take decisive action to protect residents and ensure that those responsible are brought to justice.
The statement partly read:
“Our people deserve to live in peace, free from fear and violence. What is happening today is a humanitarian tragedy that demands urgent attention, justice, and lasting solutions—not silence or political excuses.
“I call on the government, security agencies, and all stakeholders to act decisively to protect our people and hold those responsible accountable. I also urge well-meaning Nigerians and international partners to stand with Benue during this time.”
Kiddwaya extended his condolences to the victims, survivors, and affected families, expressing solidarity with those impacted by the tragedy.
He also encouraged the people of Benue to remain steadfast in their demand for peace, justice, and the dignity “every human being deserves.”
