During a visit to an Israeli airbase on Monday, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stated that Israel is pressing ahead with its objective to neutralize threats posed by Iran.
He emphasized that the country’s focus remains on two primary goals: dismantling Iran’s missile infrastructure and eliminating its nuclear capabilities.
“We are on the path to achieving our two main objectives: eliminating the nuclear threat and neutralizing the missile threat,” Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu declared.
He warned that if Israeli forces secure control of Tehran’s airspace, they would strike key regime-related targets.
“If we gain control over the skies of Tehran, we will strike those targets — the regime’s assets,” he stated.
Netanyahu also issued a direct warning to the city’s residents:“To the citizens of Tehran, we say: ‘Evacuate the area!’ We are prepared to act.
”Meanwhile, the Israeli military released an “urgent warning” to civilians in a major district of Tehran, advising them to flee.
The district, spanning about 30 square kilometers, is home to nearly 300,000 people and includes foreign embassies, upscale residences, and major commercial centers.
Reports from Tehran describe rising fear and confusion, with explosions reportedly heard in the western part of the city and confirmed airstrikes in the eastern areas.
