A Nigerian lady, Chinonye Favour, has issued an apology to popular skit maker and actor, Nkubi, following a controversial remark she made about his daughter.
The controversy erupted when Favour shared a picture of Nkubi’s daughter with the caption, “Main Labubu”.
Amid heavy backlash, Chinonye Favour released a video apologizing for her comment.
She explained that she had come across the photo on another platform and was unaware of who Nkubi or his daughter was at the time.
“I made a post that went viral, and first of all, I want to sincerely apologize to Nkubi and his daughter. I didn’t know she was Nigerian,” she said.Favour also addressed rumors that she deactivated her Facebook account, clarifying that her direct messages remain open should Nkubi wish to contact her.
