RB Leipzig striker Benjamin Šeško is reportedly insisting that any contract offer from Arsenal must include a release clause.
Sesko’s representatives are believed to have already reached personal terms with the Premier League side ahead of a possible summer transfer. However, according to Football London, the 22-year-old is now requesting the inclusion of a release clause in the proposed contract.
RB Leipzig are reportedly demanding a transfer fee of £68.5 million for Benjamin Šeško. If a deal is reached, the release clause in his Arsenal contract could be set at roughly 20% above the agreed fee.
Šeško had an outstanding 2024/25 season, scoring 21 goals across all competitions, including four in the UEFA Champions League.
Arsenal have shown long-standing interest in the Slovenian international, having pursued him since last year when he opted to stay at the Bundesliga club for another season.
