Remo Stars’ technical adviser, Daniel Ogunmodede, has declared that his ultimate ambition is to guide the club to victory in the CAF Champions League.
Ogunmodede led Remo Stars to their first-ever Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) title last season, marking the club’s historic maiden major trophy.
Ogunmodede’s team is set to make its second appearance in the CAF Champions League next season, after falling short in the first round during their previous continental campaign.
“Personally, as the coach of Remo Stars today, my ambition is to win the CAF Champions League,” Ogunmodede stated in an interview with Super FM.
He noted that Enyimba remains the only Nigerian Premier Football League (NPFL) team to have won the CAF Champions League in the past, setting a benchmark he hopes to surpass with Remo Stars.
