Atiku, Obasanjo, Gowon, Shettima, and El-Rufai Hold Meeting

Atiku Abubakar held a meeting with former President Olusegun Obasanjo, Vice President Kashim Shettima, and former military Head of State, Yakubu Gowon.

He also held discussions with former Kaduna State Governor, Nasir El-Rufai, NNPP National Leader, Rabiu Kwankwaso, and other prominent Nigerians.

The meeting took place on Saturday during the 70th birthday celebration of former Bauchi State Governor and ex-PDP National Chairman, Adamu Muazu.

Atiku reflected on his collaboration with Muazu from 1999 to 2007 in laying the groundwork for good governance.

Sharing a post on X,

he wrote:“Yesterday, I joined my boss, former President Olusegun Obasanjo, former Head of State Yakubu Gowon, Vice President Kashim Shettima, and several other distinguished Nigerian leaders in celebrating Alhaji Ahmadu Adamu Muazu—former Bauchi State governor and one-time PDP National Chairman—on the occasion of his 70th birthday.”

As Nigeria’s Vice President from 1999 to 2007, I collaborated with Mu’azu and other governors of that era to establish the foundation for good governance and to promote private sector-driven economic growth in the country.

I took the opportunity to congratulate Mu’azu and extend my best wishes for many more years of good health and vitality.
