
Wydad AC and Al Ain are the most recent teams to be eliminated from the 2025 Club World Cup.
Both clubs suffered defeats in their opening Group G matches against Manchester City and Juventus, who have now secured qualification.
Wydad AC lost their first game 2-0 to Manchester City, before being hammered 4-1 by Juventus on Sunday.
Al Ain were crushed 5-0 by Juventus and suffered another heavy defeat on Sunday, losing 6-0 to Manchester City.
With both teams now out of contention for qualification, they will be playing solely for pride in their final Group G fixture on Thursday.
Before Sunday’s matches, the teams already eliminated from the tournament included Ulsan HD, Auckland City, Los Angeles FC, Pachuca, and Urawa Red Diamonds.
