Abuja Pastor, Amos Isah Lands In Police Custody Over Alleged Rape Of 14-Year-Old Girl

Amos Isah, founder and lead pastor of Prophetic Victory Voice of Fire Ministry in Gwagwalada, Abuja, has been arrested and is currently in custody at the Federal Criminal Investigation Department (FCID) over allegations of sexually assaulting a 14-year-old girl.

The arrest, which occurred last week, has stunned the local community, as Pastor Isah was widely known for his charismatic preaching and claims of possessing divine power.

His church, situated behind Noble Noel Academy, opposite Gwagwalada Market in Abuja, has long served as a place of worship for many residents.

A review of his Facebook page by SaharaReporters reveals that Isah often shared posts emphasizing holiness and moral integrity.

The last service he held at the church was on Wednesday, June 18, 2025.

The next day, June 19, a service took place at the church, but Pastor Isah was conspicuously absent from the pulpit.

On his Facebook page, Pastor Isah describes its purpose as being “to touch lives as the Holy Spirit leads because God has given me power” (sic). On June 15, in a post marking Father’s Day, he wrote: “Dear God, thank you for the gift of fatherhood. We pray for all fathers and those hoping to become fathers. May You give them the strength to be a vessel of Your love. HAPPY FATHER’S DAY.

”In another post on June 11, he shared a Bible verse and reflection: “The wicked flee when no one is pursuing, but the righteous are bold as a lion” (Proverbs 28:1, NASB). We need the Holy Spirit’s help any time we stand up for Jesus; it is His strength that we must lean on. We need His boldness and courage to be light in a dark world if we are to be a mouthpiece for Him.”

However, authorities exclusively told SaharaReporters that he abused his spiritual influence to exploit a minor.

Sources within the FCID confirm that the victim, a 14-year-old girl, was allegedly sexually assaulted by Isah, leading to his arrest.Attempts to reach the cleric for comment were unsuccessful, as he did not respond to calls to his mobile phone.

Meanwhile, SaharaReporters learned that some police officers are allegedly working behind the scenes to protect the pastor and keep his identity from being disclosed publicly.

Sources say investigators are managing the case with a high degree of confidentiality, given the sensitive nature of the allegations and the pastor’s status as a religious figure.
