The National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons (NAPTIP) has declared Nigerian singer and internet personality, Speed Darlington (real name Darlington Okoye), wanted over serious allegations including rape, cyberbullying, and cyberstalking.
The move follows a controversial Instagram Live session held by Speed Darlington on May 27, during which he made disturbing claims about engaging in sexual activity with a 15-year-old girl. The video sparked widespread outrage and led to an official investigation by NAPTIP.
According to the agency, Speed Darlington was initially summoned on May 30, 2025, but failed to appear. He later requested to reschedule for June 26, a date that was rejected by the agency. A second opportunity to appear on June 2 was also ignored.
Due to his continued failure to respond, NAPTIP has now issued a wanted notice and called on the public to assist in locating him. The agency is also working in collaboration with other law enforcement bodies to ensure his arrest.
Members of the public with information on his whereabouts are urged to contact NAPTIP via their official channels.
