According to The Punch Newspapers, a 32-year-old farmer and writer, Wisdom Amedu, has shared horrifying details of his abduction by armed kidnappers — one of whom he alleges was a soldier in uniform.
Amedu, who was rescued after daysrescued after days in captivity, recounted the traumatic experience that left him with machete wounds and lasting emotional scars.
The incident occurred around 1 a.m. on March 17, 2025, at Amedu’s home in Edo State. According to him, the gunmen stormed his residence after shooting one of his dogs.
