A Nigerian woman has spoken out after being assaulted by four men who beat her, stole her phone, and emptied her bank account shortly after she left her home.
The incident came to light through a post on the social media platform X (formerly Twitter), where the victim, identified as @fabiyi_abosede, shared photos showing injuries to her face sustained during the attack.
According to her account, she was on her way to deliver perfume orders when the assailants suddenly ambushed her.
She wrote,
“Yesterday, I was robbed and beaten by four men. My only ‘offense’ was stepping out of my house to earn a living. They emptied my bank account, stole my phone, and took all the perfume orders I was supposed to deliver in the morning.
“It breaks my heart to see how wicked people can be,” she added.
Her post quickly drew attention, with many concerned users taking to the comment section to offer sympathy, share words of encouragement, and condemn the disturbing incident.
