Tears and heartbreak as lady dies just hours before her birthday celebration.
The heartbreaking incident was shared on Facebook by a netizen identified as Eze Monday.
The lady was set to celebrate her birthday on July 6th and had already made arrangements for a party scheduled to take place at 7 p.m. that day.
Tragically, her friends discovered her passing when they arrived in the morning to surprise her with cakes and gifts.
Her friend, Eze Monday, shared an emotional tribute:
“TODAY I CELEBRATED Betty Amarachi’s BIRTHDAY @ HER GRAVESIDE.On June 29, 2025, my mother’s namesake, Amara Gbogom (as I fondly called her), invited me and many others to her birthday party today – Sunday, July 6.
This morning, her friends came to surprise her with a birthday cake, but instead, death surprised all of us her friends, myself, and even her because this wasn’t part of the plan.
We ended up celebrating her birthday at her graveside. We sang her the birthday song with tears in our eyes and sorrow in our voices.”
