NACJ Declares John Ezekiel (AKA Excel), Integrity Entrepreneur Of The Year

The Nigerian Association of Christian Journalists (NACJ) has declared John Excel, winner of the Prestigious, “MOST OUTSTANDING INTEGRITY INTREPRENURE OF THE YEAR, 2025.

The award was formally conferred on him by the Association on Sunday July 6, at his Lagos Head Office , MOVANA HOTEL, LAGOS, NIGERIA.

Presenting the Award, the national president of the association, Dr Charles Okhai, explained the rigorous process of nomination , and scrutiny before eventually picking the Award winner.

According to him, the process of picking the Award winner is very strict and meticulous. First , the National Executive Members Nomination Exercise is constituted to produce a list of nominees in all categories of award. Then, the list is short listed after a thorough scrutiny of the nominees to produce the three most deserving candidates. And finally, the list is further scrutinized by the National Executive Council of the Association to pick the most deserving candidate who eventually emerges the winner.

Dr Charles therefore Congratulated John Ezekiel Abu for clinching the highly coveted Award of the year 2025 in the Entrepreneurial Category. He emphasized Integrity and Accountability which form the high moral ideal for which the Award is given, and contended that the Association is proud to honor the recipient with the prestigious Award because of his high sense of Integrity as a business and as a leader in the society.

According to Dr Okhai, It is also of paramount importance to state that the Award is not just like other Awards, this one is specifically designed to sensitize leaders across the board to embrace the spirit of Integrity, accountability, and Patriotism.

He further contended that no nation can attain meaningful progress without mentally integrity conscious leadership. In his words, “The developmental progress of a nation is intrinsically connected to the level of Integrity and Patriotism of the leadership. This underscores why we took it upon ourselves to run this crusade of getting our leaders to embrace the principles of Integrity and Patriotism”

Dr Okhai further explained that John Abu Ezekiel was selected as the overall winner owing to his very impressive track record of unwavering commitment to the principles of Integrity and Patriotism. His Transformational Leadership impact is undoubtedly very rare and commendable, hence, the Award.

John Ezekiel Abu is a prominent young Nigerian business man. He is the founder and Chairman of a five star MOVANA Hotel. He runs other businesses including Oil and Gas and REAL ESTATE.

He is known for his philanthropic gestures, and community development, and financial Empowerment of the youths.He has made immense contributions to Industry, Community development, and nation building.

In his response to the Award, He appreciated the Association for doing a good job for the nation. In his words, ” I thank the organizers, The Nigerian Association of Christian Journalists (NACJ), for the loudable idea behind this Prestigious Award, and I give God the glory for this recognition. It goes a long way inspiring people like us for the little that we put into building society and industry and to see that we are being recognized by such a big organization, the Nigerian Association of Christian Journalists (NACJ). This is not just an Award, but an inspiration to put in more efforts and do more for my community, for the less privileged, and the nation in general. Finally, I do not take this honor for granted, and by the grace of God, I will continue to uphold the values of the award, the the ideal for which the Award is given. Thanks for the good job.
