Sarah Grace Patrick, a 17-year-old from Carrollton, Georgia, has been arrested and charged with the murders of her mother, Kristin Brock (41), and stepfather, James Brock (45). The couple was found shot dead in their bed on February 20, nearly six months before the arrest.
According to the Carroll County Sheriff’s Office, Patrick, who lived with the victims and her younger sibling, initially called 911 after the 6-year-old child discovered the bodies. Following an extended investigation, authorities issued a warrant for her arrest.
Patrick turned herself in on July 8, accompanied by her father. She faces two counts of murder and two counts of aggravated assault and is being prosecuted as an adult.

A $5,000 reward had earlier been offered by the family for any information leading to an arrest.
