Three individuals, including a clergyman, have been abducted by suspected bandits in Bauda Village, located in the Maro Community of Kajuru Local Government Area, Kaduna State.
The victims have been identified as Reverend Anthony Lamba (50) of ECWA Church Bauda, Christiana Anthony, and Danlami Zana. They were reportedly kidnapped while working on their farm on Friday afternoon.Security analyst Zagazola Makama disclosed the incident in a post on X (formerly Twitter) on Sunday, noting that the assailants stormed the farmland and whisked the victims away to an unknown location before security forces could respond.
Although security operatives were swiftly deployed to the scene, the gunmen had already fled with the victims.Authorities have since launched a manhunt and ongoing efforts are underway to rescue the abductees safely, as investigations into the incident continue.
