The Katsina Emirate Council has approved the appointment of six additional district heads, including former Minister of Aviation, Senator Hadi Sirika, and Umar Radda, son of Governor Dikko Radda.
This was contained in a statement released on Saturday by the Secretary to the Emirate, Bello Ifo.
According to the statement, Sirika has been named the new Marusan Katsina, District Head of Shargalle in Dutsi Local Government, while Umar Radda has been appointed the Gwagwaren Katsina, District Head of Radda in Charanchi Local Government.
Other newly appointed district heads include:
Alhaji Sanusi Kabir-Usman, Karshin Katsina, District Head of Shinkafi in Kaita Local Government.
Alhaji Ahmad Abdulmumini-Kabir, Dan-majen Katsina, District Head of Dankama in Kaita Local Government.
Alhaji Abubakar Dardisu, Sarkin Mudurun Katsina, District Head of Muduru in Mani Local Government.
Alhaji Gambo Abdullahi, Dausayin Katsina, District Head of Dabai in Danja Local Government.
Alhaji Gambo Abdullahi, Dausayin Katsina, District Head of Dabai in Danja Local Government.
The Emirate Council confirmed that the appointments took effect from Saturday.
