A Nigerian man has gone viral after expressing shock when a ₦125,000 phone he ordered online turned out to be a tiny, palm-sized device.
In a video shared on X (formerly Twitter), the man first displayed his face before unwrapping the package, only to find a miniature phone that left him visibly frustrated and confused.
Struggling to figure out how the device worked or where to insert a SIM card, he exclaimed:
“Are you kidding? You have to be kidding me. This is a joke. Jesus, I’ve never seen this in my life. Jesus help me.”
The clip quickly spread across social media, attracting thousands of reactions from users who shared their own disappointing experiences with online shopping.
One commenter wrote: “Bro knows exactly what he is buying. Online vendors are wicked… he thought it was one of those clone iPhones, not knowing it was a toy.”
Another user added: “I remember when I ordered an AirPod online. What they sent was rubbish, I left it at the post office to rot.”
Others advised buyers to carefully read product descriptions to avoid falling victim to misleading listings.
