Veteran Nollywood actress, Rita Dominic, has taken a trip down memory lane, celebrating her remarkable career alongside her colleague and friend, Genevieve Nnaji.
In a heartfelt Instagram post on Thursday, Dominic shared an old photo of herself with Genevieve, recalling how they began their acting careers as “just passionate girls with a dream.”
She admitted they had no idea the journey would take them this far or that Nollywood would evolve into an industry with global recognition.
“To look around today and see how far we’ve come fills my heart with pride. No matter what, we did not walk alone,” she wrote.
Dominic has spent 27 years in Nollywood, while Genevieve has marked 26 years, a testament to their resilience, talent, and dedication.
In a related development, actress Biodun Okeowo (Omoborty) weighed in on marriage discussions on Instagram, noting that the number of years spent in a union does not guarantee faithfulness. She encouraged women to value peace of mind over societal expectations, adding that while some men may break vows, others remain devoted.
