The Senior Pastor of Omega Fire Ministries, Apostle Johnson Suleman, has sparked heated debate after declaring that oral sex is not a sin when practised within marriage.
Speaking during a recent church service, the preacher responded to a congregant’s question on whether oral sex was sinful. A video of the moment has since gone viral on social media, attracting wide attention.
Reading the question aloud, Suleman explained:
“Anything you do with your wife indoors is not a sin. So long as it’s your wife and both of you agree. When the Bible was talking about the wife of your youth, what do you think it meant?”
He stressed that the Bible does not condemn such practices in the marital context, adding that sex only becomes sinful when tied to fetish, ritualistic, or diabolical acts.
The cleric, however, admitted that many Christians may find his position controversial.
“I know that many of you will say you can’t use the same mouth you use to serve God to perform oral sex, but don’t you lie and gossip with that same mouth? I know many will not agree with me, but oral sex is not a sin.”
The video has since divided opinions online. While some applauded Suleman for offering what they see as a more liberal and realistic perspective on marital intimacy, others argued that the act remains questionable within Christian doctrine.
