Popular Nigerian skit maker and prankster, Abdullahi Maruff Adisa, widely known as IamTrinityGuy, has voiced his worry that Afrobeats superstar Davido may not like him.
Trinity Guy, who often refers to himself as the “OBO Comedian” in admiration of Davido’s “Omo Baba Olowo” persona, made the disclosure in a post shared on his verified Facebook page on Thursday.
According to him, he has been making efforts for almost two years to meet the award-winning singer but all attempts have failed, leaving him wondering if Davido harbours some dislike towards him.
“I think Davido hates me. Sometimes I even feel like maybe I offended him before,” he wrote.
The comedian further explained that in 2024, he had promised himself he would meet Davido before the year ended, but the plan did not materialize. Despite this setback, he said he is still holding on to faith and prayers that his dream of meeting the singer will finally come true before the end of 2025.
“I promised myself last year (2024) that I would see Davido before the end of the year, but till now, no movement. God, I dey use this moment to pray, please make it easy for me, I want to see Davido before the end of this year,” he added.
