A disturbing incident has emerged online involving a young man who stabbed his own father after being instructed by a cult group known as the Vikings.
According to reports shared on social media platform X (formerly Twitter) by user @PH_Socials, the young man was apprehended shortly after attempting to kill his father. A video accompanying the post shows him being restrained by several people to prevent his escape.
In the footage, one witness could be heard saying: “He carry knife, cut him papa” — confirming that the youth had indeed stabbed his father.
When questioned about his actions, the suspect confessed that he is a member of the Vikings cult group and was ordered to kill his father. He further revealed that the cult demanded his father’s head as part of either an initiation process or ritual requirement.
The shocking revelation has sparked outrage and concern on social media, with many Nigerians condemning the act and calling for stronger measures against cult-related violence and indoctrination.
