A Nigerian businessman has been left devastated after thieves broke into his gadget shop and carted away all his goods, sparing only his power generator.
In a video he shared online, the shop owner showed the store in its original state, well-stocked with phones, accessories, and power banks, before revealing the aftermath of the burglary, where the shelves had been completely emptied.
According to him, the burglars gained entry by digging their way into the store, after which they packed away every valuable item.
The incident has sparked mixed reactions on social media. While some sympathized with the businessman, others made lighthearted jokes about the situation.
One user wrote, “At least they left the generator for him so he can use it to generate new gadgets.” Another quipped, “Na because the gen no fit pass that hole na why we no carry am.”
Some others expressed concern over the rising rate of shop burglaries, with one commenter stating, “What’s funny about this please?”
