Nollywood actor Segun Ogungbe has said he was not surprised by the infidelity allegations leveled against him by his former lover, Wunmi Ajiboye.
GIST9JA recalls that Wunmi announced her separation from Ogungbe in 2024, accusing him of misconduct with her trainees. She alleged that one of the trainees became pregnant and was pressured into having an abortion.
In June 2025, Wunmi further clarified that she was never married or engaged to Ogungbe. According to her, he never met any of her family members, except for a friend of her sibling in Lagos. Despite having two children together, she described Ogungbe only as the father of her children and urged the public to stop trolling her.
Speaking in a recent interview on Oyimomo TV, Ogungbe said his relationship with Ajiboye was destined to happen and not something he had planned.
He explained that he was unbothered about the allegations of infidelity, stressing that as a theatre practitioner, he believes anything can happen.
“I didn’t intend to have another woman as my lover or baby mama, but whatever God has destined will definitely happen,” he said.
“On the allegations, I am a theatre practitioner, and I know there is nothing that cannot happen. I didn’t think about it at all. I wasn’t bothered because I was expecting it and I’m still expecting more.”
However, Ogungbe did not respond to Wunmi’s claim that he never met her family despite fathering two children with her.
