Nigerian award-winning singer, Paul Okoye, popularly known as Rudeboy, has criticized the mindset of today’s generation, describing it as unhealthy and filled with unnecessary comparisons.
In a post shared via Instagram on Monday, the music star expressed concern over how people constantly measure themselves against others in terms of class, maturity, and lifestyle. He warned that such attitudes only create pressure and push individuals into living with the wrong mentality.
According to him:
“I swear, this generation na mad people full am!! Haba!! Everything na comparison, class, level, maturity… And na mumu go still listen to this poor mentality psychos, then go put themselves under pressure. Like wtf!!!”
Meanwhile, Nigerian rapper Tochukwu Gbubemi Ojogwu, better known as Odumodublvck, sparked debate online after saying that being declared wanted by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) would be a “dream come true.”
Reacting to the EFCC’s recent wanted notice against luxury developer Sujimoto, the rapper joked that he would see it as an achievement to appear on such a flier, even if only for a week.
He wrote:
“MY DREAM IS TO APPEAR HERE ONE DAY. SO I GO FIT COMMOT TALK ‘EFCC IF YOU LIKE GYM’ EVEN IF NA FOR 1 WEEK. ABEG MAKE UNA COME HOL ME .”
