The leaders of Britain, France, and Germany have issued a joint appeal urging Iran to resume negotiations after U.S. airstrikes struck Iranian nuclear facilities overnight.
In a joint statement, the leaders of the three European powers called on Tehran to refrain from any further steps that could heighten tensions in the region.
“We have consistently maintained that Iran must never obtain a nuclear weapon and must not threaten regional stability,” the statement emphasized.
