In an effort to fill up the vacant position of the senate in ANAMBRA SOUTH SENATORIAL DISTRICT through a by-election process, aspirants are currently jostling for their party’s ticket. In APC, Hon. Sir Azuka Okwuosa Chinyelugo (erstwhile local government chairman of Nnewi North, erstwhile Commissioner of Works and Transport Anambra State, has thrown his hat into the ring to replace late Sen. Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah as the senator, representing Anambra South Senatorial District.
Against this backdrop, the victory of the by-election is tied to the CREDIBILITY, ELECTABILITY, ACCEPTABILITY and ACCESSIBILITY of the aspirants jostling for the APC’s ticket , vying for the senatorial position.

The wise thing for the All Progressives Congress (APC) Party leadership Anambra South Senatorial District to do is to cede the ticket of the party to HON. SIR AZUKA OKWUOSA and the winning of the elections will be too sure. The intent of fielding a candidate in every election is to win election , and not just fielding sake. HON. SIR AZUKA OKWUOSA if given the APC’s ticket, will be the ideal candidate with the wherewithal and requisites to give candidates from the other political parties a run for their money, and emerge victorious.
