
Former Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi, has confirmed that he will contest in the 2027 general elections.
The former Governor of Anambra State, Peter Obi, announced that he would be on the ballot for the 2027 presidential election.
Obi, however, noted that he has not agreed to a joint ticket with former Vice President Atiku Abubakar.
He disclosed this on Sunday night, when he appeared on an X Space to answer questions from his supporters
He stated, “I have not engaged in any form of discussion regarding a joint ticket, including with Atiku.
”Obi also urged Nigerians to join him in the mission to rescue and rebuild the country.
I will bring stability in Nigeria within two years in office. Leaders of Nigeria should sit down in Nigeria and fix Nigeria,” he added.
