A Nigerian youth has sparked reactions online after recounting a surprising incident at his university’s faculty of engineering.
In a trending video circulating online, the man claimed he was at the faculty of engineering, where the generator was faulty and had not been repaired.

According to him, despite being surrounded by engineering professors, none of them could repair the faulty generator when it broke down.
He questioned the practicality of their expertise, expressing frustration over their inability to address such a basic technical issue.
In his words:
“I was in this faculty some time ago when the generator had issues. None of the professors of engineering could fix it. They had to look for someone else. My question is—what’s the point of having a faculty of engineering if a diesel power plant develops a fault and no one there can fix it?”
