Primate Elijah Ayodele, leader of the INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, has revealed that U.S. President Donald Trump harbours no affection for Bola Tinubu and may be used by opposition forces to undermine Tinubu’s 2027 re-election bid.
Speaking on Saturday in Lagos during the unveiling of the 2025 edition of his prophecy compendium, Warnings to the Nations, Ayodele warned that Tinubu is facing serious threats both internally and externally to his second-term ambition.
He said, “Two things may happen in the 2027 election. The coalition will use America against Tinubu. They may use the drug case against him. Trump does not like Tinubu. All these governors Tinubu is bringing into the APC will not help him.”
The cleric warned that if Tinubu fails to secure re-election, the All Progressives Congress (APC) will collapse.
“If Tinubu fails, APC will go into a coma. If the coalition survives, PDP will go. But if the coalition fails, PDP will resurrect,” he stated.
Primate Elijah Ayodele, leader of the INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, has advised President Bola Tinubu to postpone the APC national convention, warning that failure to do so could derail his political future.
“The date of the convention must be changed. Trouble will begin afterwards. If you don’t change it, you will fail,” Ayodele cautioned.
The cleric, speaking during the unveiling of the 2025 edition of his prophetic book Warnings to the Nations, said Tinubu has the potential to govern effectively but is surrounded by poor advisers and weighed down by rising public discontent over economic hardship and insecurity.
“Tinubu has what it takes to do a second term, but he will fail. His own lieutenants will work for the opposition,” he said.
Ayodele also warned of increasing public frustration. “Nigerians are in pain, and Tinubu hasn’t done enough. Many forces are against him, and he must retrace his steps.”
He predicted that the next general election would witness rigging at an unprecedented level, with possible attacks on INEC offices.
In addition, the prophet expressed concern over the president’s personal safety, urging a security reshuffle and enhanced protection, including better fortification of the presidential aircraft.
On the state of the opposition, Ayodele said their success in the coming election would largely depend on their unity and ability to present a common front.
“El-Rufai and Amaechi will start the trouble within the coalition,” he said.
e added that Governor Nyesom Wike “cannot give Tinubu victory” and predicted a fallout between the two.
Ayodele, known for his apocalyptic and political prophecies, also declared Tinubu a “highly spiritual being” and claimed he would reincarnate if he dies.
“Tinubu is more than Tafawa Balewa, more than Awolowo. He is reincarnated. He is dynamic, a chameleon, a poison. You can’t eat him and go free. Even if he dies now, he will come back,” he said.
The prophet warned that ignoring his messages would be at the government’s peril and criticised church leaders for failing Nigeria.
“Churches are greedy and wicked. There’s no unity in Christendom. The church is part of Nigeria’s problem,” he said.
Primate Ayodele also addressed global concerns, predicting rising instability across West Africa, the death of a former FIFA president, and internal crises looming within both the European Union and NATO.
On the home front, he warned of further fuel price hikes, deepening hunger, and a possible World Cup failure for Nigeria’s national football team unless urgent reforms are implemented.
