
Basola Jamiu Owodunni, a Civil Engineering graduate from the Federal University of Technology Akure (FUTA), who was previously flagged by JAMB for having a “fake” admission despite earning a CGPA of 4.41, has now been officially cleared.
According to education advocate Alex Onyia, Basola Jamiu can now access his JAMB portal and is eligible to join the next batch of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC).
Over 4,000 students who faced similar challenges have also had their cases successfully resolved.
In an update shared online, the post read:“I have good news regarding Basola Jamiu Owodunni, the Civil Engineering graduate from FUTA whose admission was previously flagged as ‘FAKE’ by JAMB despite graduating with a CGPA of 4.41.
The issue has now been resolved. He can access his JAMB portal again and will be joining the next NYSC batch.
Additionally, over 4,000 other students with related admission issues have also had their cases cleared.”
