Midfielder Mubarak Sani has completed a move to Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) side, Niger Tornadoes, ahead of the 2025/2026 season.Sani, who was a key figure at Rivers United last season, departed the Port Harcourt-based club following the expiration of his contract at the end of the 2024/25 campaign.
The talented midfielder was instrumental in Rivers United’s impressive run last term, helping the team secure a second-place finish in the NPFL. He featured prominently throughout the season, establishing himself as one of the club’s most consistent performers.
Sani is now set for a fresh challenge with the Ikon Allah Boys, who narrowly avoided relegation on the final day of last season. He is expected to be officially unveiled by the club before the new season kicks off.
