Sir Azuka Okwuosa Visits Orphanages, Special School to Honour Sen. Ubah’s One-Year Remembrance

A wave of emotion swept through Anambra South today as Sir Azuka Okwuosa, the APC Senatorial Candidate for the forthcoming bye-election, marked the one-year remembrance of Senator Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah (SPIU) with a heartwarming outreach to two charity institutions.

Represented by a delegation from his campaign organization led by the Director General, Hon. Theo Nnorom, the team paid visits to Jesus Abandoned Charity Home in Umuezopi, Oraifite founded by Rev. Fr. Anthony Ananwa and the Special School for Orphans and the Disabled, DCC Nkwo Nnewi Triangle in Nnewi North, under the care of Rev. Ven. Emmanuel Chiadikaobi.

The visit, marked by grief and gratitude, was a touching tribute to the late Senator Ubah, whose legacy of compassion and selflessness continues to resonate deeply with the communities he served. The children and residents of the homes fondly recalled the senator’s generosity and described him as a beacon of hope and support during their most trying times.

Joining Hon. Nnorom on the visit were other notable members of the campaign team including Dr. (Mrs.) Nkechi Nnoli, Hon. Henry Obiokpala, Mrs. Ify Agbanu, members of the media, and others.

In their remarks, the residents praised the Okwuosa family’s long-standing record of charity and philanthropy, offering fervent prayers for Sir Azuka Okwuosa’s senatorial bid. Many expressed hope that his election would usher in a new era of compassionate, purposeful, and people-focused leadership for Anambra South.
