Former Manchester United captain, Roy Keane, has taken a swipe at three of Arsenal’s key players following their narrow 1-0 win over the Red Devils on Sunday.
Despite Arsenal securing all three points at Old Trafford through Riccardo Calaforis first-half header, Keane argued that Buksyo Saka, Martin Odegaard and Declan Rice failed to make any real impact in the game.
Speaking on Sky Sports, Keane said Arsenal’s display was far from convincing, insisting that several of their stars were missing in action.
“This was an Arsenal team where four of their players didn’t turn up. Rice was poor, Neville praised Odegaard but I thought he was shocking, and Saka didn’t do much either. Even the substitutes offered very little. Overall, it was a below-par performance from Arsenal,” Keane remarked.
Meanwhile, Manchester United will be looking to bounce back when they take on Fulham in their next Premier League fixture.
