EPL Clubs Failed in Loan Move for Mainoo as Arsenal’s Trossard Attracts €25m Bid from Besiktas

Manchester United midfielder, Kobbie Mainoo, was at the center of strong transfer interest during the summer window, with several clubs attempting to secure his services on loan.

Reports from Gist9ja reveal that Everton, Aston Villa, and Tottenham Hotspur all made approaches for the England international, hoping to bring him in on a season-long loan.

Mainoo, who had reportedly requested a temporary move away from Old Trafford to gain more regular playing time this season, was denied the opportunity by Manchester United, as the club insisted on keeping him within the squad.

In addition to the three Premier League sides, interest in the 19-year-old stretched across Europe, with Marseille from France’s Ligue 1, as well as Napoli and Roma from Serie A, also making enquiries about his availability.

Meanwhile, another notable transfer development involves Arsenal forward Leandro Trossard. Turkish giants Besiktas have tabled a €25 million offer for the Belgian international, according to Sozcu Spor. The Istanbul-based club, whose transfer window remains open beyond the Premier League’s deadline, is pushing hard to bring the attacker to Turkey.

Besiktas had previously shown interest in Trossard, and their renewed bid comes amid growing speculation over his future at the Emirates. With Arsenal adding attacking reinforcements this summer, including Eberechi Eze and Noni Madueke, Trossard’s role in the squad has come under question, fueling talk of a possible departure.
