Frank Nweke Jr, the governorship candidate of the All Progressives Grand Alliance posed the question of resource utilisation to the PDP-led administration at The Candidates, a Town Hall Session organised by Daria Media for the gubernatorial candidates of different political parties in Enugu State.
Stating that he was not against borrowing, he said that the most critical question was to use the funds judiciously for the improvement of the lives of the people.
“Our current debt profile is incredible. We have a domestic debt of N69.17 billion and a foreign debt of $129.19 million. That is an over 80% increase in the past five years. What have the funds been used for?”
The APGA governorship candidate praised the rising political consciousness in the State and encouraged citizens to take an interest in governance process and revenue management.
