A Bayelsa man has reunited with his biological father 35 year after he was given to another man.
A family member, Ibuomozi Bigi, shared the emotional story in a Facebook post on Sunday, September 20, 2026.
According to him, the young man was brought back to their family on Saturday, September 19 and formally presented to the Mozi Dynasty in Olobiri Community the next day.
“A family’s celebration of the Return of a lost Son. My older brother’s son who was given to another man 35 years ago has been brought back to the Bigi family yesterday being 19 September 2026, a replica of his father; and today the young man was presented to the Mozi Dynasty in Olobiri Community today being 20th September, 2026 just minutes ago,” he wrote.
“I’m overwhelmed with joy over this particular event, and just returning from the village. Na God run this one.”
